DAILY UPDATES (cell phone coverage permitting) from Team Agouti on the road:
Thursday, 10-2-2008
Friday, 10-3-2008
Saturday, 10-4-2008 : no photo updates but as of TS #3 (Furnace Creek @ mile 252.89), Team Agouti was in the lead for the Four Man category!
Sunday, 10-5-2008 : Teams Agouti and Prairie Falcon are duking it out — they're tied at TS #6 (Kelso @ mile 417.55, elapsed time: 23:22)!
- Team Prairie Falcon is in the lead at TS #7 (Almost Amboy @ mile 451.30, elapsed time: 25:05).Team Agouti clocked in at 25:14. This looks to be a nail-biting finish with 58 miles to go!

WAY TO GO! Team Agouti finishes SECOND out of ten 4-man teams with an elapsed time of 28:39:19!! First place Team Prairie Falcon finished 3 minutes ahead of Agouti with a time of 28:36:06 — GREAT JOB, Team Prairie Falcon!!!

Team Agouti continues its fine tradition of down-to-the-wire thrilling finishes. In 2004, Agouti squeaked by Team Javelina with THREE SECONDS to spare for third place in the 4x men's. This year's time slashes almost 7.5 hours off their 2004 finish. Gee—what might happen next year?

Congratulations to all of the racers, crews and the FC508 support staff! The Furnace Creek 508 race is better than reality TV...because its UNREAL.

- On the Road with Team Agouti...Kinda
Team Agouti readies itself for the 7 hour trek to Santa Clarita. The shadows are long. The sunlight is fading. That's because its 6pm and the boys haven't left yet.
